Founded in Australia, SOMI is a welcome new-comer to beauty and travel.

Let’s face it, travelling with your beauty routine is complicated – full-sized products take up precious suitcase space, travel minis turn into landfill and generic refillable options aren't appealing. SOMI is here to help. Our unique beauty decanting kits are compact and lightweight, without compromising on style. SOMI was born from a desire to bring the joy of self-care to every place you go.

SOMI products are intended to simplify the way you travel and transport your essentials, while enriching your on-the-go self-care rituals. Form and function are at the heart of our design ethos and careful consideration has gone into every detail. Our style is refined, minimal and fuss free, and our palette sits comfortably in every space.

Drawing inspiration from the modular, soft curves of
Mario Bellini’s iconic 1970s Camaleonda sofa, the SOMI system offers flexibility like no other. SOMI kits can be configured in multiple ways, adapting to your needs, no matter where your travels take you.

Sleek, compact, washable and stackable, SOMI is more than just a travel kit, it's a complete system. With more complimentary products already in the works, you can expect SOMI to offer future solutions that work in seamlessly with our first release original collection.

MINDFUL

In the UK alone, 100 million single-use beauty miniatures are purchased every year, equating to around 980 tonnes of plastic* - most of these travel minis end up in landfill. The SOMI system empowers you to ditch single-use minis and travel mindfully with all your favourite products. Our minis are made from PET using 5% recycled material. The SOMI Circular Returns Program encourages you to return your minis, at end-of-life, so we can up-cycle them into new generation products. You can read more about our Circular Returns Program HERE. We have a strong desire to design products that are long lasting and multi-purpose. Every element, from our minis to our case and protective dust bag, can be reused in numerous ways. SOMI prioritises using low impact materials where possible. We are committed to improving our footprint year on year. We aren't perfect, but we are consciously progressive.

IMPACTFUL

SOMI is female-founded with a heart for women. Removing barriers to finance is key to achieving gender equity and liberating underbanked women. $1 from every SOMI kit sold is proudly invested into KIVA micro loans for women in business in underserved communities. Over 80% of Kiva borrowers are women who are starting their own businesses, pursuing an education, or investing in the health of their families. These loans are repaid and reinvested, creating a cycle of support and continued empowerment. We look forward to sharing our impact with you.
